I am a reaident of over 15 years as well as a local businessman of over 12 years in Saint Clair Shores. I have been invloved with numerious community service organizations including: Member of the "Community 2000" Committee which began the process of the Harper overlay master plan. Past Secretary, Vice-president and president of the Harper Avenue Business Association (HABA). Past Vice-chair of Economic Development for the Metro East Chamber of Chommerce. Active member in the Lac Saint Clair Kiwanis. My business, Swany Construction, initally started in my home here in Saint Clair Shores has been located on Harper Avenue for over 10 years. I support many local events and fund raisers for a good cause. Fustration over city codes, bidding process and other management issues has moved me to get involved with STRAW.   

I was born and raised in S.C.S.

I am a hard-working single mother who wants to make sure I live in the best community possible to raise my son.  I grew up and lived in SCS for most of my life, graduating from Lake Shore High School.  When I became a mother, I wanted to come back to SCS to raise my son and to be close to my family again.  I also missed the things that the city had to offer, such as lake access and good restaurants.
